The compact design of the emFONE 181 system, allows both emergency and internal communications throughout a single lift shaft. Supporting up to eight stations it provides users with a high-quality hands-free solution, be it from the motor room or MRL cabinet to the top of a car, in car and pit stations. The em-181 has a built-in battery backup of up to 8 hours standby and 4 hours talk time in a typical installation.
The in-car station allows for a compact flush mount all in one design or external speaker and microphone mounting options. All stations include additional I/O ports allowing a secure connection to other peripherals such as elevator call buttons and LED call status notifications. The robust and industry-proven peer to peer single cable interface (Data & Power) allows a maximum of 400 meters of cabling per lift without the loss of audio quality. All programming functions and features are done by simply dialling into the master unit from a remote handset or mobile phone.

The emFONE LX System is an auto-dialing lift intercom system designed to save both time and money in all aspects of the installation. A single telephone line can be shared by up to 32 intercom stations and a robust 4-wire bus arrangement allows simple cabling solutions avoiding the need to run individual wires to each intercom station.
The system will dial out to the lift company using the single external line connected to the master, identifying the lift no and location of the call. The unit can be programmed to then automatically dial out to building management following the call to the lift company.
The system will help a person unable to communicate with the service provider, either because of a physical disability or language difference. A remote programmable digital voice message, of up to 16 seconds, is played upon answer of the call, and is used to identify the calling location to service provider.
The lift company can ring into the system and select any lift car or intercom station to communicate with or if necessary talk to all intercom stations by a group page.

The emFONE Builders Lift Intercom offers the complete solution to any new building site. The system offers a crystal clear communication path between any landing station and the elevator / hoist master device, allowing one to one or one to all communication throughout.
With the capability to connect up to 3 separate lifts / hoists the user on each landing can decide exactly which lift / hoist they want to talk to. The operator in the lift / hoist can then choose to “talk back” which will open a path back to the station that called them.
All units come with the additional safety call buttons of FIRST AID & SITE OFFICE. When pressed for 5 seconds these buttons will initiate an emergency call back to the first Aid officer or site office. Multiple numbers can be programmed into the system to ensure the call is answered.
