In an elevator, hearing aid wearers aren’t able to use emergency intercom or phone systems to call for help. All they hear is a shrill noise! The YSEL Elevator Induction Loop is specially designed for hearing aid wearers to help them receive clear communication of lift announcements and most importantly make use of emergency services.
How exactly does the hearing induction loop work? Similar to devices installed in airports and train stations, a magnetic field is created in the elevator cabin which sends an audio signal direcly into the users hearing aid when they switch the T-coil setting on.
